Human Resources and Staff Council have launched a pilot for the new Staff Leadership Development Program

I am writing today to share that Human Resources will undergo a phased leadership transition beginning in the spring semester. Jana Grimes has, these past five years, led Human Resources through several strategic initiatives and change management efforts, and will remain in the Vice President role until an Associate Vice President is identified and arrives on campus

Staff council recognized the following staff members as the Spring 2025 Staff Council Grand ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ian Award winners. Each of the winners has demonstrated their commitment and dedication to the college by being an excellent performer in their duties while representing the core values of the institution and the mission of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ College. 

At the Annual Staff Recognition Brunch hosted by the Office of Human Resources on Jan. 9, 2025, the Staff Council presented awards to two staff members deserving of special honors.

On Oct. 23, the Staff Council recognized three staff members with the fall 2024 Staff Council Grand ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ian Award.

Did you know that there are over 20,000 nonprofits in Iowa working every day to improve lives and strengthen communities? The demand for nonprofit leadership continues to grow. However, in ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ and in other rural communities, most community organizations run with little or no staff and are highly dependent on the dedication of volunteers to accomplish their missions.

The Staff Council recognized the following staff members at the Annual Staff Recognition Brunch, hosted by the Office of Human Resources on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

The Staff Council presents the Grand ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ian Award in collaboration with the Office of the President, the Office of Human Resources, and the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
