Visit ý

College is more than classes and studying — for four years, this will be your home. On-campus and virtual visits are one of the most powerful ways you can energize your college search, and perhaps the best way to experience for yourself what it feels like to be a ýian.

We hear it from students again and again — when they visited campus, they knew in their hearts that ý was the right choice. Come find out what your ý story could look like.

On-Campus Visits

See our rolling hills and breathtaking sunsets. Walk from our state-of-the art science center to our old-meets-new Humanities and Social Studies Center. See a play, take in an art show, and experience life at ý for yourself.

Meet the Students

One of the best ways to get to know ý is to meet current students. We believe our admission interns are a great sampling of the students who choose to attend ý; see who they are, where they come from, and some of the things they’ve done while at ý. And if you have any questions for them, feel free to contact them.

Lily Shoemaker '28 (Montezuma, Iowa)

"I came to campus for the first time over the summer before my senior year of high school. I was scared, but I was so grateful to meet so many amazing students. I had conversations with these students that really showed me that ý would be an amazing fit. "

Lily Freeman '27 (Bainbridge Island, Washington)

"My campus visit was really special. I was paired with a frisbee player (my club of interest), and we even spontaneously met her captain. My class visit also stood out, as the professor called on me for one question! ý challenged and welcomed me from the moment I got here."

Alex Stein '25 (Mansfield, Pennsylvania)

"After visiting ý, the people, facilities, and location made me so excited about the possibility of spending four years here. People in ý were really kind, inviting, and interested in me."

Hannah Sweet '25 (Minneapolis, Minnesota)

"I wanted to attend a small liberal arts college that would support me as both a student and athlete. After visiting campus, I knew that ý was the right place for me."

"I ultimately chose ý because when I visited, it felt like home. I could see myself walking the paths between all the dorms, going to class on a Tuesday."

Quinby Rainey '27 (Hammon, Oklahoma)

"I remember being extremely nervous about my first visit to campus. I had already been admitted in Early Decision, so the stakes were already extra high in my mind. But once I made it to the College, I was overcome with a sense of giddiness. My visit to ý made starting this new chapter of my life not seem so scary."
