As an interdisciplinary program, the advisers for the gender, women's and sexuality studies major are faculty members from departments across campus. All teach, research, create, or perform within the broader rubric of themes related to gender, race, sexuality, class, and embodiment. Many have themselves completed degrees or certificates related to GWSS during their education and professional training.
