Heritage and Identity Month Celebrations
Throughout the academic year, CTEB coordinates and collaborates on campus-wide heritage and identity month programming that recognizes the histories, cultures, and contributions of historically marginalized communities. These celebrations create opportunities for education, reflection, celebration, and community engagement.
Signature programming includes:
- Latinx Heritage Month
- Transgender Awareness Week/Transgender Day of Remembrance Programming
- Disability Awareness Month
- Black History Month
- Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month
- Juneteenth Celebration
Programs may include keynote speakers, panel discussions, educational workshops, cultural performances, community celebrations, exhibits, film screenings, and collaborative events with campus and community partners.
