Alex (he/him) joins ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ as a student clinician while completing his fourth year in the Counseling Psychology doctoral program at the University of Iowa. He earned his B.A. in Psychology and later his M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Dakota. His previous experience includes school‑based mental health work in southwestern Iowa, and he is currently developing a specialty in sport and performance psychology.

In his clinical work, Alex draws on evidence‑informed approaches that emphasize mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication. He works to create a collaborative, non‑judgmental therapeutic space where clients feel comfortable exploring concerns and building skills that support their well‑being.
